Contrary to what many people think, the inventory in eyewear stores is not on consignment. When we order a frame to have in our stores, it comes with a bill. To have a large inventory of quality luxury eyewear is simply too expensive and impractical for doctor's offices to carry when the majority of their net income is from insurance, eye exams, and contact lenses. At EYEZ boutique, we concentrate only on eyeglasses. Therefore, we have devoted our entire eyewear inventory to top quality, designer and luxury frames. We do not accept insurance, we do not examine eyes, and we do not fit or dispense contact lenses. 3. Many designers and frame manufacturers feel their products are too cutting edge, bold, colorful, and expensive for the average American market. So they are usually sold only in Europe and a few select stores on our continent. Most of these companies have been making wonderful, high quality and creative eyeglass frames for decades, but if you don't live or shop in Europe, you seldom have access to them. Although we do carry many familiar designer lines such as Gucci, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, etc., in our store, EYEZ boutique specializes in eyewear that is not readily available to the average American consumer. Charles travels all over Europe and meets with the frame manufactures and designers to select the frame designs and colors that are not common in the United States. And we don't just have a couple of neat styles amid a store full of boring ones. We have hundreds of these fine luxury frame styles to choose from in a wide variety of color combinations. Are the frames too wild and impractical for daily use? While we do have many frames that are geared for adventurous personalities, we have hundreds of frames in the latest European fashions, shapes and colors that are meant to accessorize virtually any wardrobe. They add a tasteful elegance to your "look" that only a quality accessory can. The clientele we have developed over the years have come to expect the best from us. At EYEZ boutique, we want your eyewear to be more than just utilitarian. We want them to be comfortable and still enhance your unique features, personality, and wardrobe. What about filling the lens prescription? EYEZ boutique has Board Certified Opticians, and an American Board Certified Master Optician to assist you, measure, and to manufacture your prescription. Our opticians have 25 and 35 years of individual experience; that's over 60 years of combined experience at your service. This is a rare thing today. Rarely does a doctor's office, or chain store, have that level of expertise in the people who actually measure you for, and manufacture your glasses. And, they generally utilize only a small handful of lens products because they aren't up to date on all the latest technology available. Here at EYEZ boutique, we only make and sell eyeglasses. We actually go to the manufacturers and laboratories. We attend lectures and trade shows throughout the world to acquire the most current information about lenses and frames. We network and swap experiences and fitting techniques with opticians around the world to continuously hone our skills. We know about the latest lens designs, materials, and coatings, often before they are released by the manufacturers. Being independent opticians we are better able to shift to new and innovative products as they come available to serve our customers needs. Many lens products are enjoyed by our clients for several years before they are available in the big chain stores. We concentrate solely on making eyeglasses. Your products are inspected and verified several times during production, and again before you are notified they are ready to be dispensed.
